Well the only way you can do that is with a fresh install. I have read the kb article many times. It does state it cover R2 at the top but does not near the bottom in the specific instructions. And I cannot find oobmig.

That was the big deal on R2, 32bit was gone. Then no means to do an upgrade. Upgrades are only within single architectures. So that just rules that out right there.
